  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 2โ€“3 tbsp sugar
  • 1โ€“2 tsp lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

1. Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter in a bowl until evenly mixed.

2. Press the crust mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9ร—9-inch pan and chill in the refrigerator to set.

3. Beat softened cream cheese with sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

4. Gently fold in the whipped topping until well combined.

5. Spread the cheesecake filling evenly over the chilled crust and smooth the surface.

6. Toss the sliced strawberries with sugar and optional lemon juice and let them sit for a few minutes to macerate.

7. Spread the strawberry topping evenly over the cheesecake layer.

8. Refrigerate the bars for at least 3โ€“4 hours or overnight until fully set.

9. Slice into bars and serve chilled.
