Ingredients

2 lbs frozen Salisbury steak meatballs (halal)
2 cups beef broth (non-alcoholic)
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cloves garlic
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
Optional: 1/4 cup chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

Defrost meatballs in refrigerator overnight
Combine beef broth, mushrooms, onion, garlic, flour, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, thyme, and pepper in a bowl
Place meatballs in the slow cooker
Pour the sauce mixture over the meatballs
Cover and cook on low for 7–9 hours or high for 2–3 hours
Stir occasionally to coat meatballs
Garnish with green onions before serving
