Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Bang Bang Sauce:
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce*
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce* or more to taste
  • 2 tbsp honey*
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

1. Cut the boneless, skinless chicken thighs into 1-inch cubes.

2. In a large mixing bowl, combine chicken with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

3. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, hot sauce, honey, and salt to make the Bang Bang sauce. Set aside.

4. Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto skewers, leaving space between pieces for even cooking.

5. Brush chicken skewers with some of the prepared Bang Bang sauce.

6. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place skewers in a single layer in the basket without touching.

7. Air fry for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway, until chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

8. Once cooked, brush skewers with more Bang Bang sauce.

9. Serve hot, garnished with parsley or sesame seeds if desired, and extra sauce for dipping.

Notes

*Use full-fat mayo, low-carb sweet chili sauce, keto-friendly hot sauce, and sugar-free honey for a keto version.

Do not overcrowd skewers in the air fryer to ensure even cooking.

Great served with a side salad, cauliflower rice, or as party appetizers.
