Ingredients

  • 1 lb frozen or homemade meatballs, fully cooked
  • 4 cups mashed potatoes (freshly made or leftovers)
  • 1½ cups brown gravy (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley or green onions (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.

2. Spread mashed potatoes evenly in the bottom of the baking dish. Season with salt and pepper if needed.

3. Place cooked meatballs evenly over the mashed potatoes.

4. Drizzle brown gravy over the meatballs and potatoes, covering everything.

5. Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly on top.

6. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted and bubbly.

7. Top with chopped parsley or green onions if desired. Serve hot.
