Sweet heat, tangy feta, and juicy baked chicken come together in a simple, flavorful dish perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 200 g feta cheese, crumbled
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp hot sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.

2. In a bowl, mix the honey, olive oil, hot sauce, garlic, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and pepper.

3. Place the chicken in the baking dish and coat evenly with the marinade.

4. Bake for 22–28 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

5. Sprinkle crumbled feta over the chicken and broil for 2–3 minutes until lightly golden.

6. Garnish with fresh parsley and spoon the sauce from the pan over each piece before serving.

Notes

Add extra hot sauce or chili flakes if you prefer more heat.

Chicken thighs can be substituted for a juicier option.

Reserve a small portion of feta to sprinkle fresh on top after baking.

For deeper flavor, marinate the chicken in the sauce for up to 24 hours before cooking.
