Whip up this comfort food classic that layers flavorful ground beef, creamy mushroom soup, gooey cheddar cheese, and golden tater tots for a fun meal the whole family will love.

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bag (16 oz) frozen tater tots
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).

2. In a medium skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks, until it’s no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.

3. Add the chopped onion to the beef and sautรฉ until the onion is translucent, about 2-3 minutes.

4. Drain any excess grease from the pan and return the beef and onion mixture to the skillet.

5. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well until the beef is thoroughly coated.

6. Season the beef mixture with salt and pepper to taste.

7. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.

8. Spread the beef mixture evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

9. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the beef layer.

10. Arrange the frozen tater tots on top of the cheese, ensuring they cover the entire surface of the dish in an even layer.

11. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.

12. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
