A creamy, cheesy, and comforting Chicken Alfredo Tater Tot Casserole made with tender chicken, rich Alfredo sauce, golden tater tots, and melty cheese. Perfect for cozy family dinners, potlucks, or freezer meals!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie works great)
  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese or cheddar
  • 1 (32-ounce) bag frozen tater tots
  • 1 cup frozen peas or spinach (optional)
  • ½ cup cooked crumbled Beef(optional)
  • ¼ cup heavy cream (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or butter for greasing dish

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.

2. In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, peas or spinach (if using), and heavy cream. Season with salt and pepper.

3. Spread mixture evenly in prepared baking dish.

4. Top with frozen tater tots in a single layer.

5. Sprinkle mozzarella or cheddar cheese evenly over the tater tots.

6. Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes until cheese is bubbly and tots are golden.

7. Optional: Broil for 2–3 minutes for extra crispiness.

8. Let rest slightly before serving. Garnish with crumbled Beef if desired.

Notes

Rotisserie chicken saves prep time and adds flavor.

Make it vegetarian by skipping the chicken and doubling the veggies.

To freeze: Assemble unbaked, then thaw overnight before baking.

Mozzarella gives a creamy melt; cheddar adds tang.

Add heat with red pepper flakes or pepper jack cheese.
