Strawberry Shortcake Puppy Chow is a quick and easy no-bake treat made with Chex cereal, white chocolate, and freeze-dried strawberries. Sweet, crunchy, and bursting with berry flavor—perfect for snacking or parties!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1-oz bag freeze-dried strawberries
  • 4 cups rice or corn Chex cereal
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

1. Place strawberries in a food processor and chop until they become a fine powder. Alternatively, use pre-packaged dried strawberry powder.

2. Combine strawberry powder and powdered sugar in a bowl and mix until fully blended. Pour mixture into a 1-gallon freezer bag and seal.

3. Melt white chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until completely melted. Do not overheat.

4. Fold melted chocolate together with cereal in a large bowl until coated. Be gentle to avoid crushing the cereal.

5. Transfer the coated cereal to the bag with the strawberry-sugar mix and gently toss to coat each piece.

6. Spread the mix on a baking sheet and refrigerate for 15 minutes to set the chocolate.

7. Store in an airtight container and enjoy.

Notes

Use gluten-free Chex cereal to keep the recipe gluten-free.

Add a pinch of salt or a handful of crushed freeze-dried strawberries for extra flavor and texture.

Make ahead and store in an airtight container for up to a week.

Great for gifting, snacking, or serving at parties.
