1. Add balsamic vinegar, extra virgin olive oil, salt, and black pepper to a medium-sized bowl. Stir well to make the dressing.
2. Discard the liquid from the mozzarella container and lightly rinse the mozzarella balls. Add them to the bowl with the dressing.
3. Rinse cherry tomatoes under cold water, pat them dry, and cut in half. Add them to the bowl.
4. Layer and roll the fresh basil leaves, slice them into ribbons, and add to the bowl.
