Crispy feta and hot honey phyllo cups are a perfect mix of savory and sweet. These bite-sized appetizers feature flaky phyllo shells filled with creamy feta cheese, drizzled with spicy honey for a delightful contrast.

Ingredients

  • 24 mini phyllo cups
  • 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. Place phyllo cups on a baking sheet.

3. Fill each cup with crumbled feta cheese.

4. Bake for 8-10 minutes until the cheese softens and the edges turn golden.

5. While baking, mix honey and red pepper flakes in a small bowl.

6. Drizzle hot honey over the baked phyllo cups.

7. Garnish with fresh thyme leaves if desired.

8. Serve warm.

For extra crispiness, lightly brush phyllo cups with olive oil before baking.
